Google Chrome

I've downloaded it. I'm using it to write this post. But other than that, I like Firefox better.

Anyone else tried it yet?

I downloaded it yesterday as well and played around with it a few minutes. The lack of an ability to extend it through add-ons (at least that I could see) has me still using Firefox for the moment.

It has potential (it did seem to load Gmail substantially faster). Once Google has had the chance to gather some feedback and provide a few rounds of updates I could see myself adopting it as my primary browser.

I'm too in love with Firefox (and add-ons) to try a different browser. Doesn't look too much different from Safari, but maybe I'm not looking closely enough.

I won't be downloading it any time soon. Google botched this launch so badly that it makes the mind reel. They used an outdated, unpatched version of the Safari engine, which means that Chrome is vulnerable to what is known as a "carpet-bombing" exploit. Another architectural flaw makes it susceptible to a type of Denial-of-Service attack.
